Just in time for Christmas, this is what I'm knitting:

They cemented in my permanent crown today. I was able to have the procedure done without novacane, so I am actually able to eat tonight. And the crown looks like a real tooth. I'm calling this a good day.

Meant to do this a month ago, but things being what they are IRL lately . . . Better late that never, right?

Step One
1. Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a________ icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

2. If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

1. Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

2. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy.

Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Is it a spoiler to say that Glee is freaking awesome? Because it is. Seriously, I adore this show ever so much....I mean, I even love the characters that I don't like, you know? Trying to think coherent thoughts about this at the moment is pretty much useless though, because I'm still like !!!!! about the midseason finale. And April, seriously?

And this is possibly the most awesome casting spoiler ever. How is this not fantastic? It's like Christmas has come early! EEE!

I am also extremely tired. I wonder if this will make any sense when I read this in the morning. Does it ever?

Title: Lament
Author: ellanorasedai

Characters: Chloe…and Oliver
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Not mine.
Summary: This is a tag to the season 8 episode Requiem, the one where Oliver (supposedly) kills Lex, and berates Chloe for suggesting he was wrong to do so, when he knows she killed Sebastian Kane. She protests that it was Brainiac who did it, not her, and his answer: “Was it? Because it seemed like a pretty natural instinct to protect Clark."
Notes: This is for [info]tehzo , in honor of her birthday, and as a big thank you for her support and constant exhortations to write more fic! :-) Happy Birthday, tehzo!

When I was a little girl I studied ballet. It's hard enough to dance in toe shoes. But this? I'm blown away.

Thank you to those who sent me cookies!! Sorry if it took a few days to respond, I just got flooded with the notifications. I went looking to send cookies of my own but apparently they are no longer available, that's a shame.

I do appreciate everyone on my f-list, and hope you are all having a great December.
